People, Places and Things

In these albums you will find location portraiture (and perhaps the odd studio portrait I really like) and photographs of places and things I find interesting.  I am sure you will find some of them interesting as well!

I prefer not to shoot in a studio.  I learned to shoot in a studio and learned about sculpting with light in the studio, but I prefer to shoot on location.  There are many more challenges to shooting on location, but there are also many more rewards that come from the infinite number of locations.

I enjoy traveling.  Cities I visit, the local countryside and anytime I am abroad.  A camera goes everywhere with me.   As is often quoted "it isn't always the biggest camera that's important, but the one you have with you".   You will find everything from bees nests to buildings, snowmobilers to landscapes and everything in between.   Where ever my path takes me, I will find something of interest to me that deserves to be preserved in print or digital form.
