19th Annual Bushplane Days Festival - Bushplane Museum

Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Canada

 

Each fall, usually in September, the Bushplane Museum hosts a weekend of family activity culminating daily in fabulous air shows demonstrating the prowess of the current fleet of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources  Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services program.  There are the permanent displays in the museum to visit, as well and as many activities geared to children of all ages, including a large display of radio controlled aircraft.   Each year a different Superhero visits the celebration.  This year it was Spiderman on Saturday and Captain America on Sunday to the delight of many children dressed in the same outfits.
